Father’s Day is on the 18th June and is the perfect opportunity to get the family together on the weekend and spend some quality time together. Whether your dad is super sporty or not, there’s an activity that will be suitable and fun for everyone.

  1. Treat the family to a fun day out by going paintballing! Running around and having a little bit of friendly competition between the adults and the children is bound to get everyone moving (unless they want to get hit!) and is a fun and unique way of gathering family and friends together. paintballing to keep fit and healthy for weight loss this father's day and have fun with The Slimming Clinic
  2. Does your dad enjoy sports? Whether it’s football, cricket or rugby, gather a group of friends and family, get into teams and spend the afternoon playing dads favourite game at your local park or in the garden. You’ll be out in the fresh air as well as bonding with one another. football
  3. If your dad isn’t too sporty, get everyone to go on a leisurely walk in your local woods or along the beach if you live near the sea. This way, you can all talk to each other and take your time to enjoy the scenery and everyone’s company whilst getting some easy exercise. Take your bikes along if you enjoy cycling to reap the full health benefits of cycling. To find out more about the benefits of cycling, read our article here.  woods, fitness
  4. If your family has young children, take them along to an indoor trampoline park. Everyone can get involved and you’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even realise how many calories you’re burning! This activity is perfect for all types of weather as you’ll be indoors, so whether rain or shine, you’ll be able to have some fun together. trampoline, fitness
  5. If the weather is sunny and warm, why not go swimming in an outdoor pool? Or to the beach for a day out. You can get plenty of exercise swimming in the sea or in a pool.
