I had a gastric bypass in April 2021.  In February 2021 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This was always a chronic condition that I had dreaded being diagnosed with. I knew that I had no time to waste and if I wanted to lead a happy and healthy life that I could not play ‘Russian Roulette’ with my health anymore. The surgery was expensive, and it was a life changing decision. However, in February 2024, I was still 10 stone 12 pounds and was finding it very difficult to lose weight, even with having the surgery. I did not want the last few weeks to have been wasted. 

I contacted my surgery provider and they could not offer Wegovy injections, they had no stock! They actually recommended The Slimming Clinic. The hunger pangs, the desire to eat just dissipates. As the number on the scale decreased, so did my confidence and zest for life increased. I am 62 and proud of that. It is never too late to start your weight loss journey. Please do it sooner than I did, i.e. before being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I am delighted to share that I am now in remission! My blood results are now excellent and that is exactly where I intend to stay. This is about life and death. It is not just about vanity. I have improved my changes of a sustained and healthy life.

You have nothing to lose. They are great. Very helpful, from the receptionists to the doctors. I have met online several doctors, and they have been down to earth, friendly and professional. They check all your vital signs to make sure you are medically fit enough to take the medication which reassured me no end. I wish that I had just taken Wegovy from the beginning, without costly surgery. I am convinced that I would have lost all the weight using this medication.
