Welcome to week 6 and well done! You are now half way through the The Slimming Clinic 12 week workout challenge and are doing amazingly. We are so excited to be joining you on your weight loss journey. The Slimming Clinic’ fitness coach Sam Kay and qualified personal trainer, will be with you every step of the way to keep you on track, stay motivated and burn those calories!
This week’s workouts feature squat hooks, uppercut pulses and side lunges in the format of high intensity interval training to get your heart rate up and get you moving with combat moves & lunges. Do not worry if you struggle initially, for every exercise Sam demonstrates 3 levels of intensity so that you can do the workout at your own pace.
You should aim to complete this workout video at least 3 times this week. The more you do, the more calories you will burn. The 12 week workout challenge is in the format of HIIT (high intensity interval training). HIIT means you give 100% effort in quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short periods of rest.
Each week workout is 30 minutes long consisting of three different sets of three exercises. You will do each exercise for 45 seconds back to back with 30 seconds rest in between each set and then repeat. There will then be a grand finale with a run through of all three sets of exercises back to back with no rest in between.
Sam Kay is the The Slimming Clinic fitness coach and she is completing each and every one of the exercises with you. She is a qualified personal trainer with loads of experience. Sam is passionate about exercise and fitness and is confident that if you follow these plans for 12 weeks you will see your own transformation.
Exercising boosts your metabolism, burns calories and keeps you fit and feeling great. Once you have lost weight, you can still continue to use the 12 week programme to tone up and get fitter.
