The Role
We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Prescribing Nurse or Doctor to join our team on a part-time basis. Although the position is fully remote, you must be based in Dublin. This unique role allows you to combine your clinical expertise with a flair for innovation, providing remote consultations and prescriptions for patients in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients, assessing their needs and suitability for weight loss medication and other support.
- Prescribe weight loss medications and treatment plans based on patient assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures to help them to manage their weight loss/health effectively.
- Work closely with our (remote) multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare professionals, to provide the best care possible to our patients and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Stay abreast of relevant healthcare regulations and ensure compliance with local and national standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Doctor with active license in Ireland.
- Certification or endorsement for prescribing medications.
- Proven experience in conducting remote consultations and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and contribute to the growth of weight loss services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information in an understandable manner.
- Comfortable using digital platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment.
Salary
£65,000 per annum, pro rata (maximum 60 hours per month)
Hours
Flexible/Part-Time – maximum 60-hours per month
