With thousands of Instagram accounts of stunning men and women boasting about their fit bodies and healthy diets their secrets are finally revealed.  High-intensity interval training (Hiit) is one of the latest trends that is getting the insta-celebs in shape. Hiit is a combination of intense time-fixed exercises followed by minutes of relaxation.

What are the benefits of Hiit?

  • Ideal for busy schedules – Hiit exercises take merely between 4 and 15 minutes of training and are ideal to squeeze in your busy routine.
  • No equipment needed – You will not need anything but motivation. The advantage of Hitt exercises is that you can do it anywhere at any time. Instagram Fit Mums do their Hitt while watching the kids in the garden, but you can do them before or after work. Or you can pick out a workout buddy and do the exercises together, in order to stay motivated and have more fun.
  • You Burn Fat – The best thing about high-intensity interval training is that it actually works. This type of exercise is even more efficient than the normal (slightly boring) jogging. Also, you will build muscle, feel stronger and look amazing.
  • Good for the heart – Among their endless benefits, the Hiit exercises are good for managing a healthy heart rate and metabolism. Moreover, your bones will become stronger, your attitude more positive and you will feel yourself bursting with energy.
