It’s that time again that we all hate…time to get our not-so-ready beach bodies out for everyone to see. But do not fear holiday-goers because here at The Slimming Clinic, we’ve got you. If your holiday is slowly creeping up and you are completely unprepared, then this is the place for you, as we have compiled a three week health busting guide to prepare your body for your holiday so you can feel great on the inside and look gorgeous on the outside!

 

Three Weeks until your holiday…Exercise

It’s three weeks until the big summer holiday, you’ve been working hard all year for this blessed time off and you don’t want to waste it hiding behind Kaftans and big t-shirts…

1. Get yourself into a kick-ass circuit routine – The sooner you begin an exercise routine, the better because it gives your body a chance to reap the rewards from all your hard work. By using a quick-fix circuit routine, you are able to exercise 2-3 times a week, which revs up your metabolism, burns fat and gives you that leaner body look!  In order to get the best results, it is recommended a combination of 6-10 circuit exercises, which include jumping squats, planking, burpees and bicycle twists.

2. If you’re eager to lose that little extra belly fat before your holiday, cardio is key as it raises your heart rate and burns fat cells. We recommend fitting in 2-3 sessions of high intensity interval training a week, as this is an effective way to burn fat. This training relies highly on exercising for the same amount of time that you rest, as it gets your heart rate going and allows you to go at your own pace. The beauty of HIIT also lies in the fact you still burn fat AFTER you have finished working out…Sign me up!
