The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is the regulatory body for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy premises in England, Scotland, and Wales. Its main role is to protect, promote, and maintain the health, safety, and well-being of the public by ensuring that pharmacy professionals are appropriately trained, qualified, and conduct themselves according to set standards.

The GPhC sets standards for education and training, enforces professional conduct guidelines, and investigates complaints about registrants. They ensure that the quality of pharmacy services meets the required standards to ensure safe and effective care for patients.
